Due Date

Due Date is comical movie, with barley any satire in it. The movie was directed by Todd Phillips, and produced by Todd Phillips, Susan Downey, and Daniel Goldberg. The movie was released in November 5, 2010.

The audience of this movie ranged from teen to adults, but the commentaries weren't as bright as the number of viewers. The commentaries mostly talked of how this movie really gives no comical sense, but is fool of stupidity that makes us laugh. I do agree with this commentary since it did not contain much humor and satire, but contained stupid things people would do to make others laugh. In overall I still say this movie is definitely right on being a comedy movie, since it made everyone in the theater laugh.

The only time satire was present in this movie was when it was talking about vietnam war veteran who served and lost his legs. He decided to not help the customers, but to go to Chillies to hang out. Another time is when the No Airplane was designated to the main character, because they thought he was a terrorist. Those were the only parts satire were present. For humor, there were no humor. It was all just stupid things that made the audience laugh.

I was involved with Due Date when the trailer came out and nothing else. In my view the movie is just to have a goo time watching with your friends, because it teaches nothing of comedy and satire.
